YAM's Million Dollar "Dollar"
YAM’s Million Dollar "Dollar" Challenge is a fundraising initiative that aims to motivate 1 million individuals (a mere .000625% of the 1.6 billion worldwide Muslim population) to donate 1 dollar toward YAM’s major* and minor* Religious, Social and Humanitarian projects.
*Major Projects (require significant startup funding; designed to be self-sustaining after startup):
Expansive Land Purchase for use as campus grounds; Construction and Infrastructure (pragmatic and training) of primary Masjid, Classrooms, Department Offices, Community Facilities and Employee/student housing; Qur’an and Arabic Boarding School; Orphanage Facilities; Farming/Agriculture facilities; Recreational Development; Local Indonesian Salaries for ~30 Employees
*Minor Projects (require minimal funding; designed to be self-sustaining):
K-12 Parent/Child education; Prophetic Medicine Stock and Facilities, Qur’an Competition, Local/small Business Startup, Language Services
Over the course of three years, insha’allah, YAM will have raised funds for
-the purchase of extensive land for use as an educational and housing campus
-the construction of facilities and infrastructure
-the hiring of necessary, permanent staff
-the kick start of dozens of self-funding, YAM-owned businesses and operations
as a self-sustaining, Ummah-owned, Muslim-managed organization in service to the Ummah of Islam—national (Indonesian) and international.
