Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

"Hijrah will not cease until repentance ceases (to be accepted).

And repentance will not cease (to be accepted)

until the sun rises from the west."

YAM Vision

There once lived a man who at about 18 years old, became very enthusiastic about learning and implementing Islam such that in a period of less than one year, he memorized one Juz’ (Juz’ ‘Amma) and upon encouragement from his father, he dreamed of memorizing the entire Quran. Afterwards, he was afflicted with calamities, hardships and tests that distracted him from progressing in his religion such that 10 years had passed and he had not memorized much more than what he had already memorized when he was 18. He thought to himself, “If only I had committed myself to one word or one small portion of Qur’an on a daily basis, I would have memorized a great deal over the course of 10 years!”

Planning and Implementing our goals through moderation and continuity while avoiding the two poles of extremism in all affairs and identifying and eliminating all barriers to success along the way” is the vision of Yayasan Anshorul Muhajirin.

Our vision is based on some texts from the Qur’an and Sunnah which guide us to a middle way in practicing Islam. We believe that by following the advice of Allah and His Messenger we will be able to reach, not only, our Islamic goals but our dunya goals as well.

  • Moderation and Continuity Once we have developed a plan, the next step is to implement it. But, how do we go about implementing a plan when our schedules are full and our responsibilities are heavy? If we consider the advice…

  • Avoiding the two poles of extremism in all affairs: (i.e. doing too much such that it overwhelms you and doing so little that nothing or very little is accomplished)

  • Identifying obstacles and eliminating them 17:62-64 قَالَ أَرَءَيۡتَكَ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كَرَّمۡتَ عَلَيَّ لَئِنۡ أَخَّرۡتَنِ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ لَأَحۡتَنِكَنَّ ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥٓ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا 62 قَالَ ٱذۡهَبۡ فَمَن تَبِعَكَ مِنۡهُمۡ فَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ جَزَآؤُكُمۡ جَزَآءٗ مَّوۡفُورٗا 63 وَٱسۡتَفۡزِزۡ مَنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتَ مِنۡهُم بِصَوۡتِكَ وَأَجۡلِبۡ عَلَيۡهِم…

  • Escaping and remaining aloof   Narrated Hudhayfah: The tradition mentioned above (No. 4232) has also been transmitted through a different chain of narrators by Nasr ibn Asim al-Laythi who said: We came to al-Yashkuri with a group of the people…
