Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

"Hijrah will not cease until repentance ceases (to be accepted).

And repentance will not cease (to be accepted)

until the sun rises from the west."

YAM Mission

The mission of Yayasan Anshorul Muhajirin is to serve as a guide and assistance in centralizing, organizing, and ultimately realizing all the ideas and aspirations that we have for ourselves, our families and especially our children.

As Muhaajireen* and/or Ghorabaa’*, we often find difficulty in balancing our Western and Islamic identities. This results in confusion and frustration in handling our duties in Muslim lands as well as in the Western countries from which we come.

The disappointment of the state of affairs in the Muslim nations in these times, along with the intolerable state of affairs in non-Muslim nations, creates for us a seemingly unending cycle of unexpected tribulations, indecisiveness in planning and overall lack of stability.

We are neither of these nor of those.

If we, adults, continue in this condition, our children will inevitably suffer. They will suffer in regards to:

1. Education/Apprenticeship (having skills)—Islamic and Secular

2. Work/Livelihood

3. Housing/Residence

*Muhaajireen: Immigrants for Islamic/religious purposes
*Ghorabaa': Those viewed as "strangers'' due to their Islamic/religious practices
